Happy Halloween

The girls with Uncle Daniel

This year, Uncle Daniel took the girls (and Abdel, our neighbor's son) trick or treating.  Jon had an errand to run and I stayed home to pass out candy.  It worked out wonderfully that Daniel was here to help us get the kids around the neighborhood (hitting every house, of course!).

Check out this candy stash!

Preschool Costume Day

Lauren's preschool always does a costume parade for Halloween. The parents all go in the gym and the kids parade around in their costumes - it's so cute!

Rainbows with Mrs. Long and Mrs. Pietrowski

Lauren's friend, Mary, is the Elsa beside her.  Liam is Wolverine without the mask - his big sister Sophie was in class with Hannah a few years ago, just like Mary's big sister Bella.  It's so much fun to have multiple years with the same parent groups.

All I want for Christmas is my two Front Teeth!!!

We went to the Mooney's house (near Akron) this weekend and Hannah lost BOTH of her front teeth while we were there.  The first came out on Saturday evening and the Tooth Fairy had to visit the Mooney's house.  The second one came out just before we headed home on Sunday!

Visit with the Mooney's

We drove up to see the Mooney's today and go to Trunk or Treat at their church.  Since they have four girls, it was a fun day to get all of the girls together to play.

Why Brad, that purse looks so nice with your outfit :)
Hannah loved the car that brought their dogs with them!
That is a LOT of candy!
Lost front tooth!!!!  All sorts of excitement at the Mooney's house today!
Lydia's school had a family Halloween Dance tonight, so we all went.  They had hot dogs and chips for the kids (they were in heaven) and kids of all ages, plus families & teachers were all dancing & having a great time.  The girls absolutely loved it!

Lauren loved dancing with Mr. Mooney
These girls were totally exhausted when we came home!!

Happy Birthday, Tirzah Elise!!!

At long last, we have another niece!  Tirzah Elise arrived this afternoon just after 1pm.  Josh and Danila are over the moon with this precious little girl.  She weighed in at 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long.  She came a few weeks early to prevent complications, but is just perfect.  We can't wait to go and meet her!

Danila, in recovery holding her new little one!
So beautiful!!!
She is just darling.

What a great picture of contentment.

Lion King

For a special date with Hannah, I took her to see The Lion King.  We had lunch together and then went to the theater.  She was so excited.  She loved the music and I was really glad we got a seat up against the wall, so when she stood up to dance we weren't disturbing anyone.  She even talked me in to buying the CD afterward!

Jon's Birthday

While it may not be the prettiest looking cake, this year the girls and I made Jon a chocolate cake (from scratch!) with peanut butter filling.  It tasted a lot better than it looked iced :)

I also forgot that the number "4" candle is the one we forgot when Hannah turned 4.  Good reminder that I need to get one for Lauren's upcoming birthday.
Happy 41st Jon
We love you!!!!

Fall Pictures

I took the girls to get their fall pictures taken for Christmas cards.  Enjoy some of the better ones (as well as some funny ones that show their personality).  We went to the old barn in Dublin where I love to take pictures, with Abby in tow.  Then, we went up to Glacier Ridge Metro Park for a few in the leaves....unfortunately it was starting to get cold (and the girls weren't afraid to remind me how cold it was), but we got some good pictures.  Afterwards, we had a great date night and got pizza and ice cream.  Maybe next time I'll talk Jon into joining us :)

There were way too many other people doing pictures for Abby to get a good picture - she was so distracted with other people (and other dogs).

I love how they love each other.
