Kisses for Daddy

Occasionally Hannah will pucker up for us and give us kisses. But, she only kisses when she wants to kiss. The rest of the time she waves you off with a "no, no." Here, she was being all lovey-dovey with Daddy, but I couldn't catch the actual "kiss" on camera. Oh well, she is puckering away!

Grandma's Hands are Full!

Grandma Woolley had her hands full during her visit last weekend. Cousin Gavin was over to play and eat dinner with us. Despite Gavin being almost a full year younger than Hannah, he weighs more than she does!

Apple Eater

I had an apple from lunch that I didn't eat sitting on the kitchen table. It was nearing dinner time and I didn't have Hannah's dinner ready yet. So, my daughter being the industrious little girl that she is, grabbed it off the table, sat down in a chair, and started eating it. She managed to eat about 1/4 of the apple while I worked on dinner. She was so proud of herself. Wow. I really don't have a little baby anymore.

New Playset!

Hannah came home from Lisa's after school today to discover a new addition to her backyard....

Our new playset (as seen from the patio)

This is all sorts of fun. Hannah couldn't stop squealing the whole way across the yard as she ran over to check it out!

Hannah has to check everything out!

(It didn't come with a baby swing, so we need to find one...)

Daddy & his girl

What pictures can't capture is the little dance that Hannah would do at the top of the slide every time she was up there - almost like she was running in place. She'd also go to the back wall of the fort and then run toward the slide like she was going to fling herself down head-first -- our daughter has no fear -- fortunately, she'd stop to do her dance and we could remind her to sit down...

She loved the slide.

We're already loving this addition to our yard. It doesn't take up nearly as much room as we thought it might (read: were afraid it would). We're anticipating many hours of fun times in the backyard - and a way to wear some energy out of Hannah when we don't have the time to walk down the street to the park. If you're in the area, come over and play with us!
