"I'm Gonna Hold that Baby"

 Lauren's phrase every time she saw Tyler was "I'm gonna hold that baby" (and she did).  She LOVED getting to hold him.

When we went to meet Baby Tyler, we decided to stay with Josh & Danila so we could stay out of Susan's way with the new baby coming home from the hospital, and we offered to take Jaidyn with us for the day so Susan & Gary could bring Tyler home without worrying about what Jaidyn was doing and get everything settled before having to worry about her or visitors.  Gary brought her up to Pittsburgh and we all had lunch and then took the girls to the Aviary....and then took her back home and got to spend a little more time with Tyler before heading back to Ohio.  We had a great day!

What Happens When Mom is Working

Today I had a lot of work to do from home.  Lauren was quietly sitting across the table from me coloring while I was on my laptop working on some transaction documents for a deal that is scheduled to close soon.  Well, at some point I looked up and saw this face:

Yep, she decided to give herself a beard made of a purple marker....all I can say is that I'm happy it wasn't permanent marker.  Next time that she is quietly coloring, I will certainly glance up a little more frequently....

What Happens With No Nap

Today I failed miserably at getting Lauren to take a nap.  No matter what I did, I couldn't get her to stay in her room or sleep.  Of course, I had work to do that I'll have to do tomorrow (so much for Friday's off, right?).  But what happens with no nap?  Well, she passes out on the couch sitting up before dinner (and then is a giant bear when woken for dinner).....
