Hannah recently got her first babydoll (I know, we were neglecting her...) and she LOVES her doll. She wants it in the highchair with her, she tries to take it to bed with her, she carries it all over the house...and will even try to feed and bathe the doll every now and then. She shared breakfast today! It's fun to get a glimpse of what a good big sister she might be someday.
Hannah's speech is slightly delayed, so she doesn't always have a word for what she wants...but she knows what she wants and actively tries to get what she wants. In this picture, she is trying to get more grapes. After she was told "no," she proceeded to move the kitchen chairs around so she could try to reach them by climbing on the counter. She stood on the chair, signed "more" and pointed to the grapes...but was stopped from actually climbing as soon as her foot left the chair.
