My cousin Susan came for a short visit with her daughter Jaidyn. Susan showed up late Friday night and was gone after dinner on Saturday night, but we still had a good time during the 24 hour (or less) period that she was around.
Saturday morning we went to the zoo. Although Susan lives near Pittsburgh, she's not quite as close to the zoo as we are, so after an hour of trying to get both girls and all three adults ready and sun-screened up, we were ready to make the 10 minute drive up the road to the zoo. The new Polar Frontier exhibit just opened with polar bears, so Jon even wanted to go to check it out.

Thank goodness for the double-stroller I was given by one of my co-workers...it makes travel with cousins and friends so convenient!
We ended up having to skip some of the exhibits since we were only there in the morning....it's just so hard to fit everything in. We told Susan that she'll have to come back so they can see the rest of the zoo! It seemed like Jaidyn had a good time watching the animals, and I know that Hannah had a good time (except when Dad was carrying her on his shoulders and he walked her head into a pole - you know he is EXTRA tall when you add her on top of him and he forgot to duck!).
