My brother had tickets to the Christmas Eve Steelers game. I decided that since Karen's family wasn't going to be in WV for long on this trip that I should stay at Mom & Dad's to play with the kiddos and visit. Jon, however, was more than happy to have some "guy time" with Daniel and a few of Daniel's friends and to go to his first Steelers game and experience Pittsburgh a bit. Daniel should be a Pittsburgh tour guide - he knows how to do it right....from the drive through the Fort Pitt Tunnel, with "Renegade" crescendoing just as you exit the tunnel to see the city's skyline, to lunch at Primanti Brothers, to riding the Gateway Clipper to Heinz Field....Daniel knows the 'Burgh! (And now, Jon does too.) Here are some pictures Daniel took of their fun.
While he's not a smoker or much of a drinker, Jon could "have his arm twisted" to enjoy a cigar and a beer at Primanti's (after all, they SELL them there, so surely they go with the sandwiches!)
