I totally forgot to post the pictures from the Couple's Retreat that Jon and I went to at the end of February. Our church holds a couple's retreat every year and it is attended by a wide range of ages of couples and we'd heard good things about it, but never attended before. The retreat was at a hotel about an hour north of Columbus - we wondered about the location but found out that they discovered if it was closer, people tended to leave or head home during breaks. We went up Friday evening for a pizza dinner and opening session, then we enjoyed a free night and time to sleep in before sessions began on Saturday. We had a great time!

The team decorated the room with Valentine's decorations...
....and goodies too!

The talk of the retreat was this couch in the bathroom....because it was in the MEN's bathroom (notice the urinals reflection in the mirror). One of the guys took (and distributed) this picture to everyone!
Jon and I were selected to participate in the "Not So Newlywed Game"
Hopeful for a correct answer!

I'm so glad that we attended this year. It was nice to get away and we were reminded of the need to keep our relationship a priority, even with the busy stage of life we're in right now. One of the great things about attending a retreat with couples married between 40+ years and only 5 years is the perspective that is given during the discussion times.
