15 Months Old

My little girl is already 15 months old. My how time has flown! Hannah had her check-up and she is doing quite well -- practically no signs of being a preemie. She's just a tad over 19 lbs, so she is still stuck riding backwards in her car seat, and she's still hanging out at that 3rd percentile, but she is doing great. The doctor said she isn't sure if her size is related to her being premature or just genetics, but our doctor isn't concerned as long as she eats well.

Hannah wakes up in the morning asking for "dog" and goes to bed at night asking for "dog." She really loves Abby. Hannah is a mover and a shaker and is constantly in motion. She is so much fun, but is certainly a lot of work -- she's a climber and is super active. Of course, that is probably another reason that she is so skinny -- she doesn't stop moving. She is a good eater and is willing to try new food (although that doesn't mean she actually swallows the new food; she'll lick it and taste it, but if she's not interested, she spits it back out or feeds it to Abby).

She loves to see how things work and is constantly exploring everything around her....from learning how to work the remote control (mimicking Daddy?), to turning pages in books and magazines, to opening and closing doors and drawers and pulling things out, she is wanting to know how everything works. It is so much fun to watch her learn.
