Outdoor Fun

We got Hannah a sand and water table a few weeks ago. She has really gotten the hang of playing in it (and not eating the sand). Sometimes I think we've created a monster because she wants to go outside and play almost every night. She stands at the back door and beats on the door and practically runs for the table once she is down the steps.

Hannah has had real issues with the grass. Maybe it feels funny...maybe it is uneven...??? She won't step off the patio. We've had her out on a blanket in the yard and she won't even let a limb hang off the edge. Typically she'll just stand at the edge of the patio and maybe bend down and touch the grass (or attempt to touch it and chicken out). Tonight that all changed when she agreed to walk to Dad in the grass. Of course, falling down still caused a tear or two, but she did great. Once she got the hang of it she wanted to play with Abby and throw a ball to her. By the time bath time arrived she was walking all over the yard. Now, we have to be a lot more careful about cleaning up after the dog!!
