18 Months!

Hannah is 18 months old. How did my little baby turn into a walking, running, jumping, toddler?

Hannah is so much fun. She loves to yell for her dog Ab (also known as Abby) in the morning...she loves to lay on Abby's mat in the family room, lay on top of Abby, and pet Abby. Hannah loves to go to the park and play on the slides (the big ones especially) and swings. She claps for Abby when Abby catches frisbees in the air! Hannah has a lot to say, but not a lot that we actually understand. She is always jabbering, but the words we make out are mom, dada, Ab, dog, up, all done, and no. There may be a few more, but those are certainly the ones we hear the most. Hannah is SUPER active. Jon is totally worn out at the end of his days with her. Although she is a great sleeper at night and takes a good nap, she is constantly on the go -- with a plan -- all day. She is very inquisitive and loves to see how things work (and loves to take things apart). She is constantly picking things up and bringing them to us....especially Abby's toys. She'll collect everything in the house and try to put it in Abby's mouth, same with Abby's outside toys....Hannah wants to make sure Abby has something to play with at all times! She loves to get into the drawers in the kitchen (she has "her" drawer and the tupperware one) and is constantly filling tupperware with something (one afternoon she emptied a loaf of bread into various containers!). She loves bath time and Friday mornings at the Rec Center pool with mommy. She also loves to read her books and will sit and flip pages, even when no one is around. It is so much fun to watch her learn and play. We're really enjoying this phase (even if we are tired all of the time).

At Hannah's checkup, we saw how much our munchkin is growing...She is up to 21 pounds!!! That is exciting to us, as it puts her in the 10th percentile. She had been consistently in the 3rd percentile since she came home from the hospital. She is also 32 inches tall now....and that is the 75th percentile. We've got a long and lean gal. We had her pictures taken for the scrapbook to show how much she's grown -- ENJOY!
