Jacob and HannahOn July 24th at 3:31pm, Hannah got a new friend -- Jacob Karl Lichtensteiger was born. Jacob's parents are very good friends of ours, and we're excited about getting to raise our children together. The picture was taken when Jacob was 4 days old...and their newborn is almost as big as our 6-month old!! Jacob was a whopping 8 lbs, 11 oz when he was born (and 21.5 inches long). In comparison, Hannah is only 4 pounds heavier and only 2 inches longer....
We can't wait for the babies to be able to play together. We're already starting to plan adventures (and we're trying to figure out how to travel with 2 babies and 2 large dogs). Jon had a wonderful time meeting Jacob and he entertained everyone with his film-making skills. We're so excited to have kids about the same age and to share the "adventure" with friends who have been with us from the start (our start, at least).
