Hiking - Clingman's Dome

We vacationed with the entire Woolley Family in Gatlinburg, Tennessee last week. We rented a cabin in the mountains and had a great time hanging out with our extended family. We spent some time hiking, took a tour of the mountains on a nice windy, narrow road (we even saw a black bear!), the boys got to try their hand at fly-fishing for wild trout, saw a horseback riding show, ate some pancakes (it is the south, after all), and Hannah got to explore like never before.

On our first adventure we took a paved path up to the top of Clingman's Dome -- despite being paved it was quite a hike. Only a mile, but up a pretty steep hill (pushing a stroller!). We got our exercise, that's for sure. It was a little chilly at the top, so we bundled up Hannah and I carried her for a bit. She loved looking around at everything, but she was certainly tired at the end of the day.

Hannah takes in the sights with Mom and Aunt Danila (and provides a yawn to let us know that she's done with the moutains for the day) while Daddy & Uncle Josh hang out.
