Part of our trip to Pennsylvania was to Uniontown to visit my Great Aunt Eleanor (the girls' great-great aunt!). We hadn't been to her house since Hannah was a baby, and we needed to make sure that she met Lauren. Aunt Eleanor turned 91 last week, so we had a belated birthday celebration, complete with McDonald's (her favorite splurge!) and a spice cake provided by one of her sisters-in-law. We got to visit for a few hours, meet two of my great uncle's sisters, and Hannah was really well-behaved. Aunt Eleanor had a stuffed lamb that Hannah played with as well as a piano, one of Hannah's favorites, which kept her out of trouble. Jon was nervous with Hannah the whirlwind in a non-childproofed house (with lots of nice (breakable) things), but Hannah was good. We enjoyed our time and I know Aunt Eleanor LOVED getting to hold Lauren!
