Sheri and I took the kids to the zoo for "Boo at the Zoo." It ended up being the perfect fall day to be out and about. In the end, we only spent about 2 hours at the zoo, which is plenty when the kids are getting candy for the first of 3 or 4 opportunities to dress up and get candy! We had a picnic lunch, endured some fits of kids wanting to walk when we wanted them to ride, some sneaking of the candy when we told them "no, you have to wait until you get home," and the general crankiness that comes when you are pushing up against naptime. BUT, everyone had a good time.
