Potty Talk

Hannah says some truly hilarious things when she is on the potty.  Since not everyone is a Facebook friend (of Jon) and gets to see some of the funny things that Hannah says, here are just a few to amuse....

According to my potty trained two year old there are three types of poops: baby, mommy, and daddy. This leads to statements like: "Listen dad, a few babies." Or said while balancing on her hands on the seat like a gymnast on the parallel bars, "This is a big daddy." Or tonight, "There's a whole family in there."

Hannah while sitting on the toilet: "Let's sing a song daddy."
Me: "OK, Frosty the Snowman...."
Hannah: "No stop. Sing a different Christmas song. The Poopy Song."
Me: "I don't know that holiday classic, Hannah"
Hannah: "I'll sing and you join in. Pooooopy time..... c'mon dad."

No sitcom or movie makes me laugh as much as my 3 year old on the potty. Tonight's conversation.
Hannah while looking in the potty while sitting on it: There are two little babies in there, just floating in their crib. But they are sad.
Me: Why are they sad?
Hannah: Cause they want their mommy and daddy. (Grunting) The mommy and d...addy are still in my belly, but I'll send them in, so they won't be sad.

I was talking to my two year old and turned away. When I turned back to her, like magic, she was completely naked. "Time for my bath," she said. Only two problems. 1. We were in the kitchen fixing dinner. 2. It was 4:45pm. Guess Santa needs to bring a watch.
