Hannah absolutely loves to play outside. We're making good use of her snowsuit thus far in December. If the weather is reasonable outside, she is out playing. I've been stuck inside with Lauren most days, but Jon has appeased her by being her outside play buddy. They've even done some shoveling together. Enjoy some pictures!
Waiting for Daddy to get ready to go out.
Excited to play!
Jon was teaching her to make snowballs.

Running to the swing set.
"Sledding" in flat Ohio
Hannah doesn't want to be pulled - she wants to ride with Daddy....
which means Jon crab-crawls to move the sled!!

Tell Hannah that her Grandpa Woolley used to love the snow when he was a kid too!
Squirrels can be downright mean to dogs. When I lived in Portland there was a squirrel that would roll nuts off the garage roof at our sweet Jojo. The squirrel got to be a very good aim. Jojo would start at that rooftop for hours waiting to alert us if an attack was imminent. When we went looking for a house here in Chico one of our criteria was to have mature trees with no nuts on the property. We ended up with a house with young trees and no squirrels. Six years later - those trees are finally providing shade and I saw a squirrel for the first time yesterday. Jojo passed away 2 years ago so his final years were stress-free.
